RP: Celebrations WHO: Katie & Agravaine Vaisey WHERE: Wyvern Heights. WHEN: December 21, 2002 WHAT: It was hard to get some time just to themselves these days, but it was well worth the effort. inCOMPLETE.
It had taken quite a bit of sneaky work to set this night up. But if there was one thing that Agravaine Vaisey excelled at, it was sneakiness. This time he was nearly certain that he had outdone himself. He had even recruited her mother for the effort who had in turn recruited other family members to get Katie out of the house for a few hours at a key time.
He ran through his mental checklist one more time as he heard Katie's footsteps climbing the many stairs up to their quarters. The girls were settled for the night at her mother's house. The dress and acessories he'd bought for her were laid out on the bed. He'd spent quite a bit of time in high end ladies' shops looking for something that he knew she'd love at first sight. He'd also spent quite a bit of time in other stores finding the things that went under that dress. (That part was a present for himself but he was sure she'd enjoy the bits of silk and lace as well). The reservations were made at the restaurant and he had a whole list of other reservations at other venues that she could choose from for the rest of the night's public entertainment.
But now it was time to set the stage. So Agravaine draped himself on a chair with just the right mix of shadow and light to make a fetching picture if he did say so himself as he twirled the single red rose that was the first part of Katie's gift. His wife didn't often let him spoil her, but he was going to insist on doing so on this one day a year.
