WHO: The Slytherins at Hogwarts
WHEN: February 26th at night
WHERE: Slytherin common room
WHAT: Bored snakes are never a good thing.
RATING: PG-13
STATUS: Closed/Completed

Daphne looked up from her Charms textbook after having read the same sentence three times (and it still not making any sense whatsoever to her charms-challenged brain), making a face that consisted of a bit of nose wrinkling and a furrowed brow. "Okay, it's Sunday night and we're studying," she grumbled, closing her book with a loud snap. "I'm beginning to think we've turned into Ravenclaws." She wasn't going to point out how dreadful that idea was.

Shifting a bit in her chair so that her feet were resting on the floor rather than dangling over the arm like before, she set her book on the ground (rather than throwing it as she didn't want Theo to have a coronary) and leaned forward to the others around her. "We need to liven up this place," she replied, emerald green nails tapping against the seat of her chair. "Game, perhaps? Been a while since we've played truth or dare, especially since Tracey threatened to hex us all upside down if we dared her to kiss Goyle again."

WHO: Melinda and whoever else is about
WHEN: February 26th at night
WHERE: Leaky Cauldron
WHAT: Enjoying a drink after a long day of work
RATING: PG for now
STATUS: COMPLETED

Melinda pushed back her hair before reaching out to pick up her glass, taking a sip of her drink. She had never really been one to hang out in pubs, especially late at night but after the week she had experienced at work, some down time was needed.

Thankfully no one else had come into the shoppe and dropped their pants, although a kind, grandmotherly type lady did come in and describe her infection in great, and rather horrific, detail while she had hurriedly attempted to bottle up a potion for her. Needless to say, when the clock hit 7 pm, she had quickly locked the door, did a quick inventory then headed straight to the pub.

She wasn't expecting anyone to approach her - no one ever did. Most likely because she looked much too young to even be in a pub. So when someone did approach her, she was unprepared and a bit shocked.

WHAT: The 6th & 7th Year Muggle Studies class performs Romeo & Juliet
WHO: Hogwarts students, anyone who came to the castle for a day. Unfortunately, castle wards do prohibit the families of Muggleborn students from attending.
WHEN: Sunday, 3:00PM
WHERE: Hogwarts, Great Hall

Professor Burbage thought it was a good idea to put on Shakespeare, and of course she chose the most cliched play for school-age students -- Romeo and Juliet. The Great Hall is transfigured into a stage and small auditorium. The costumes are a strange mismatch of Muggle and magical, but at least the time period is right. The show goes off fairly well, excepting a mishap with the fake blood during Mercutio's death scene and the fact that the balcony wobbled and creaked. Also, someone had stage fright and got sick just off stage (if it was you, own up to it!). Otherwise, everyone enjoyed it and probably laughed at the funny and the not-supposed-to-be-funny bits.

ETA: Apparently some Slytherins decided to convince Peeves to throw rotten vegetables at the stage, so the play was interrupted fora time just before Act III.

Feel free to comment below if your character attended, or, of course, if your character was in the show. Feel free to thread below or start threads outside of this entry.
