General Election - Minister for Magic Minister Crouch is finally retiring. The campaigning is over and it's time for wizarding Great Britain to cast its votes for their next Minister for Magic in the first ever popular election for the position. Elections are held May 26 in Diagon Alley. All wizards over the age of 17 can vote. Hogwarts students have leave to travel to Diagon for the day.
