Who: Oliver and Emma What: Hanging out When: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 Where: Emma's place Rating: low-med Status: In progress
Oliver was more tired than he'd been in a while—he wasn't actually sure he'd be up for a run when he got to Emma's, but he'd try. Practice had been off that day. He couldn't quite pinpoint what it had been, but no one had been on the game. The weather hadn't been horrible, but it had warmed back up in an unseasonable hot snap that seemed to set a few of the players off. They were all antsy for playoffs to start, as well. In the end, coach had them running extra plays well into an hour after practice was supposed to be over.
Still, tired as he was, Oliver very much wanted to see Emma. He liked seeing her, and liked the turn their friendship had taken. It was easy to be around her, and he didn't feel like she expected him to be anything more than he was. Regardless of whether they took their run or not, he still brought Francie along, knowing she would enjoy the time with other critters. Clad in clean, loose-fitting gym pants and a t-shirt, and quickly showered so he didn't wreak, Oliver knocked on Emma's door.
