Lilly loved being outside. There was something really brilliant about the warm sun on one's skin that just felt so perfect, so right. it most certainly helped that it was still quite warm outside, even for Hogwarts and she could lie in the sun all afternoon if she so wished. Indeed, this was precisely the plan after a long day in class. She'd exited Charms barely half an hour ago, only to head back to the common room, change into something considerably more comfortable, and headed back out, parchment and quills in hand.
She'd selected a patch of grass in the centre courtyard and laid down a blanket, upon which she was currently stretched. Laying out her supplies, Lilly dipped her quill into the ink and started scratching away at the parchment. Whether minutes or hours passed, Lilly wouldn't quite be able to tell, far too engrossed in the current activity to notice until a large shadow fell upon the parchment, blocking out her light. Glancing up, Lilly squinted against the mid-afternoon sun in order to make out the person's features. "Yes?"
