"Yes, it's red," Severus replied
"It's WED! WED!"
"Very nice, yes, it's red."
"WED WED WED WED!!"
"I fully understand you, young lady. It's red, and you know it's red, and you are telling me that it's red, and it's a candle with poinsettias on it, and the candle is red and the poinsettias are red."
"Gwanda's face WED, too."
"She's got you there, dad," Alstromeria said from the kitchen while wiping her hands off on a dishcloth.
"I don't recall inviting you into my conversation with my granddaughter. Now go and make yourself useful somewhere else. We're busy."
He shooed her away and swished his wand over the candle. "Now what color?"
