Dec12-16, Harry Potter, Draco, Severus, Harry, Hermione, Lucius.
Some catching up to do, so I cheated and put them all together.
Title: Musical beds
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Severus/Harry/Draco; Hermione/Lucius. (Lending alisanne Severus out of my OT3 for her OT3)
Rating: Erm, R?
Word Count: Meeting the necessary targets, and then accelerating over the limit.
Disclaimers: If they were mine, I'd treat them better than JKR did.
Prompts: Bells, Baubles, Turkey, Christmas Lights, Roaring fire.
"Hells bells," said Harry. "Are you insane? I am not spending Christmas day at Malfoy Manor."
"That's up to you, Potter," Severus sneered. "I intend to be there. Lucius would be surprised if his son and oldest friend were missing from the Christmas table."
"Unless you want to explain to him about our little arrangement," Draco said brightly. "I'm sure he'd understand."
Harry turned white. "All right."
"You'll have to bring a guest as well," Severus said. "And, as Lucius has just acquired a very interesting tome on the history of magic, I'd suggest you ask Granger, or be prepared to take an interest in the development of Arithmancy during the Twelfth Century."
Harry and Draco both shuddered.
The parcel was beautifully wrapped. Probably got a house elf to do it, Hermione thought darkly, running a finger along the bow.
The brooch inside was stunning - a Gryffindor lion, with a snake beneath its paws. A clear message.
As was her reply - "It will take more than mere baubles to buy me."
And that would have been that if Harry hadn't needed a guest as cover. She recognised Lucius' delicate hand in the set up, and the bait laid by the book.
She'd bite, just this once.
Christmas dinner was entertaining, if you were a devious bastard. And Lucius was a devious bastard.
You almost needed an Artihmancy equation to keep track of the permutations round the table.
Snape knew about Hermione and Lucius, and was prepared to be helpful to keep on the right side of Lucius.
Hermione knew about Harry and Draco, but hadn't moved beyond thinking of Snape as a sexless teacher.
Draco knew his father knew, because his father knew everything.
Harry knew nothing. Draco had assured his father this was one of his charms.
Lucius sliced into the turkey. "Breast, Mr Potter?" he asked. "Or would you prefer a thigh?"
Harry inhaled his wine.
It was the most fun Lucius had had in years.
Hermione hadn't expected the Malfoys to have a Christmas tree, but it seemed it wasn't too muggle for their refined sensibilities. They didn't have the twinkling fairy lights she remembered from her childhood, but eternally burning candles charmed to hover above the branches of the trees.
"It's pretty," she said.
"And there's a present for you under the tree," Lucius said softly. "I hope you'll accept it this time."
"Rest assured, by the end of the holiday there will be no need for either of us to sneak around like teenagers."
"You're up to something."
Severus ghosted down the corridors, his black dressing gown fluttering round him followed by Harry under his invisibility cloak. "This really isn't necessary," Severus said. "It only looks more suspicious."
"It will do if you keep talking to thin air," Harry muttered, and then bit his lip to stop himself from saying 'I told you so' as Lucius rounded the corner.
"Good evening, Severus, Potter," Lucius said. "Is there any reason for Potter to be invisible?"
"It's not some elegant variation then?"
Severus shook his head, and Harry could have sworn he was laughing, something about the way his shoulders were moving.
"Ah, what a relief. I'd hate to think that I was missing out on some refinement." Lucius continued on his way down the corridor, stopping to knock at a door, before slipping inside.
It was only an hour later, still shrouded in the cloak as he worked at Snape's cock - the whole debacle had given Severus ideas - and with Draco's cock poised behind him that he realised... "That was Hermione's room."
"Really, Potter, is this the right time to mention something like that?" Severus said. "Now get back to it."
Harry had to admit it wasn't.
