"Out with it already." Merlin, he knew he left the girls speechless but he'd never turned a bloke before, not that he was all that surprised.
"I wanted to ask you, if you'd please leave Cho alone?"
"And why would I do that, surely you can't fancy her."
"No, not me. But Harry does, and she likes him too."
"And I though it was just the Puffs that were naive. Neville, isn't? Right, Neville, let me clue you in about Cho. She fancies anyone who can keep her in the spotlight by proxy. She wanted Potter because he was famous, but then with the Cup and all he was more infamous than famous, so she went with Cedric who was popular. "So she doesn't really like Harry?"
"Buck up, he'll learn and get over it, and the meantime, no harm in my having a bit of fun with the Puffs resident slag."
"I don't believe you. Harry wouldn't like someone who wasn't good. So, please leave her alone."

"What? No....I'm not that "No? You sure, you've got a perfect mouth for it."
Leaving the Gryff panting and walking away his smile faltered when he could still feel his lips on the other. Right then, no more mulled wine.
And no more Cho either, not when Lonbottom was a better kisser.
