Hagrid trudged through the snow. Hermione could only Apparate him part of the way. The rest of the journey would have to be travelled on foot, but it wasn't far now. Hagrid had passed the spot in the river where he'd saved little Gumble's life. A broad grin broke the half giant's face at the first glimpse of the village through the trees.
Meanwhile back at the castle, Harry licked a stray drop of wine from the corner of Severus' mouth.
Severus moaned softly and gently pushed Harry away. "Stop that this instant."
"Mm," Harry sighed, "but why, Severus? It feels lovely."
"Yes, well, as lovely as it feels, I am not going to indulge your fantasy. You are not in your right mind. Miss Weasley must be beside herself with grief over these absurd turn of events."
Harry sat down on Severus' sofa. He looked at the Potions Master for a long moment before speaking.
"Severus, I'm not in love with Ginny. I love her, like a sister, and she's part of my extended family. I tried to love her that way, even pretended to love her, but it wasn't fair to Ginny. She should find someone who can give her the earth-shattering love that she deserves. However, I'm not that person. I never was, and furthermore, I'm not under the influence of a love spell. You do realize that not only are you the bravest man I've ever met, but also the sexiest, the most infuriating, maddening, delicious…"
"That's enough, Mr. Potter! You are delusional, but all will be remedied soon. Hagrid is on his way to retrieve the antidote."
"If that's the case, then how about another kiss?" Harry said with a smirk as he stood up and pressed Severus to the nearest wall.
"Noooooo," Severus protested, but didn't attempt to stop Harry's nimble fingers from undoing his long row of buttons."
"Call it an early Christmas gift, Severus, since you're sure this will all be over soon."
"No, Mr. Potter," Severus replied forcefully as he regained his senses. "This is not happening."
Harry groaned and threw up his hands. "All right, but I'm not giving up. You'll see that my affection for you is genuine, eventually."
Severus gasped for air, the caress of Harry's lips still lingering on his neck. "This is going to be harder than I thought," Severus whined to the empty room.
Severus raised a hand to the spot of exposed flesh, gently running his hand over the heated surface that Harry's mouth had just vacated. He shivered from the loss as he turned and headed for bed.

"Hagrid, it's so good to see you again. What brings you this far away from home?" Gimmlet asked.
"Aye, it's good to see you again too. How's Gumble doing?"
"He's very well, Hagrid, and he's learned to stay away from the river."
"That's good. He's a spirited lad and I'm sorry to just drop in unannounced, but I have a little problem that I was hoping you could help me with."
"Anything, Hagrid, anything thing for you. I owe you my grandson's life, if that's what you want."
"Nah, nothing like that, Gimmlet. I just need the antidote for the love potion in yer candy canes. A friend of mine is making a nuisance of himself."
Gimmlet's face went ashen. "Oh dear, Hagrid, that's the only wish I cannot grant."
"But please, Gimmlet, I need the antidote."
"I could give you more candy, but it wouldn't help, Hagrid."
"I don't think I'm understandin' ya, Gimmlet. If there's a love potion, there's got to be an antidote."
"Shush, Hagrid, not so loud. Come closer and I'll explain it to you." Gimmlet whispered.
Hagrid trudged back through the snow the way he'd came. "Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear," Hagrid muttered the entire way.

Knocking, blasted knocking again, Severus was fed up to his eyeballs with knocking.
"Now what?" Severus yelled, throwing open his door.
Harry smirked. "I went shopping yesterday, and I forgot to give you your Christmas gift, Severus."
"You already gave me the music box. I neglected to thank you for it."
"That wasn't your gift, Severus. This is," Harry said uncurling his fist and holding his palm up to the stunned wizard.
