Aurora sat in the dark movie theater. The group she was with were taking a break from a conference they were attending. She found the popcorn to be too salty, the drinks too bubbly and she really missed her family. It was a wonder why she was attending this thing called a movie.
On the screen, a the female lead screamed at a man being in her room. The intruder snarked about being drenched, then had to prove he was as sexless as a Ken doll, whatever that was.
His voice reminded Aurora of her husband. However, his lack of masculine endowments was not anything like Severus Snape. Now, that man’s nose was proof of the old wife’s tale about size. This thought led to her being worried about her spouse. He was locked up in Azkaban for his murdering a dying man.
She grew a bit bored as the film progressed. She thought it might be a story about faith. However, it was difficult to tell with all the obscure Muggle references to things she was not familiar with. Aurora wondered if maybe she needed to spend more or less time around Muggles.
After the film was over, she decided to go with her convictions. She needed to be spending time with her infant daughter, her friends who were as sisters to her, not to mention appealing for Severus’ release from prison. He’d done everything he did to help end that blasted war.
Aurora had faith he would be released before their child was old enough to attend Hogwarts.
