He just did that sometimes. Gilderoy, that is. He'd stand out there in the snow and just stare off at something, living in his own little world. Draco never knew what was actually going on inside that fluffy head of his, but he could tell the man was thinking of something. And it always seemed deeper than he'd ever let on.

"Icicles," Gilderoy said, finally.

"What?"

"Icicles. The water melts, it tries to escape, but gets caught. Gets stuck."

"I suppose."

"Something wants to happen, but instead, it gets stuck… and it makes something beautiful – and dangerous."
