I am a 38 year old woman of a disabled child. I feel alone often and hope to make friends that understand the difficulties of raising a child that has problems. It started when my son was but 2 months of age. He caught spinal meningitis. It left him with many probelms but I love the boy with all my heart.

Hi, I'm Amanda and new to Insanejournal. I havent quite figured out how to navigate yet, but its my first day, I'm getting there :P I'm coming over from livejournal (I use the same name there and post there frequently)
Lets see, I'm 23, have two kids (Tobias who is 2.5 years, and Random who is 13 months) and I'm married. We just celebrated our 2 year anniversary on 4/1. We tend to follow the attach parenting style, but some things we do do not quite fit.
I'm a bit strange, I'll admit that, but I like to think I'm fun to have around. I'm full of interesting info, and do not hesitate to give advice on things i know about. I can't resist commenting on posts, so if you like comments, add me.
I really don't know what to say, so if you have any questions feel free to ask me. I'm pretty much an open book.

I leave greatestjournal for... a longlong while and BAM! It directs me here - friendless.
My name is Terrie and I'm wonderful. No lie.
I'm twenty three, a wife and mother; my life is everything I could have hoped for.
My child gets photographed more than Suri or Shiloh put together. I'm obsessive.
I love blowing bubbles and getting hugs from my itty bitty.
I'm a sucker for chick flicks and Disney movies. Okay, I enjoy every and any movie, in all honesty.
I enjoy learning new pick up lines and reciting them to my many ho's.
Pseudo-intellectual people [with ego] tick me off. However, I'm highly drawn to confident people.
I surround myself with those who are willing to sing cartoon theme songs with me.
IE: Gummi bears, Dark Wing duck & so on.
I’m a bit OCD in every sense of the word.
I have a birth mark the shape of a star.
I watch Jurassic Park at least once a day. Well, I used to before Hayden came along.
I’ve met Nickolas Sparks and simply adore his books.
However, I prefer the raw writing skills of Chuck Palahniuk and Jane Austin.
I speed at every chance I get on the road and I have terrible road rage.
My body feels 10x older than it should.
I have a neato street sign that says ‘Williams Blvd’ that I confiscated after Hurricane Katrina.
Why? Because that is the street my house was on, duh.
I lovelovelove reptiles.
I also have watergun fights as often as I can.
I'm still a child at heart. Go figure.
Anyway, add me. I get bored often and need friends to occupy my spare time. I absolutely will delete you if you dare TyPe LyKe DiS and boring as fuck. Also if you turn out to be a bigger prick than I am. Otherwise, add me.

Hey, so I'm Justine, I'm 20 years old, from Connecticut. I'm about 4 weeks pregnant, and I just moved into a condo with my boyfriend. I work a full time direct care state job with the mentally handicapped and I'm going back to school [hopefully next spring] for my RN. I'm carefree, I love to laugh. I play my music loud and dance when there's none playing. I have an incredibly eclectic taste in music and a completely open mind. I live in shades of grey, there's no black and white. I'll update, but not constantly, and I'll comment when I find something that interests me. I love partying, drinking games, and getting stoned, but I've given up all of that recently. I will, however, mention all of the above, so if you are offended by it, don't add me. I'm honest and unpretentious and when I write, I will be totally blunt, no sugar coating, no tickle-me-pink colored lenses. I'm really just looking for some people to connect with and get to know and talk to. I'm also a GJ refugee, formerly chupafl0r, existential___, and cute_w1th0ut_e.
