Hello all! My name is katherine, and I was away from insane journal for a while, but I'd really like to get back into it. But to do that, I need friends added on here, otherwise, I'm posting pointlessly cause no one will see it. :)
Just a few things about me, I love Adam Lambert, and Bowling For Soup. I love pretty much all music. I'm friendly with just about anyone as long as you don't give me any reason not to be. I'm obsessed with nail polish and nail art and anything zebra, I'll also take leopard and giraffe. I love all animals. I have a pet rabbit that might get mentioned a lot, her name is Foofy. I don't have the best grammar so if that bothers you, you might wanna skip adding me. I have a blog, and facebook page along with twitter and tumblr, which I might share or talk about quite a bit as well. And that's about all I can think about! My name is Pearl...and yes, this is my online alias. I'm 27, I live in Indiana. I'm currently unemployed, looking for work and hoping to keep a journal for an entire year. I've said that before, but I'm serious now. I love pop music currently, and some rock. I love to read, write, design stuff in Photoshop, I'm interested in the Pagan lifestyle (see my username)working out, staying healthy. One odd thing about you: Most people think it's off that I have a collection of skulls. Ceramic, plastic, one that sings.
Coolest thing to ever happen to you: I'd have to say that the coolest thing to happen to me was having my ex fiance's best friend fly across the country to tell me he loves me. He did this is January and we got married in March.
Anything you want to add? I'm a married mom of two but I am not the type to constantly post about my husband and kids. I love them, but they are part of my offline life. I am a bit paranoid I guess. I have to make sure that all the doors and windows are locked at night. I always check under my car and check the backseat before I get in my car. I am pro gun. My husband carries one for his job and I have a permit to carry a concealed weapon. I am a Criminal Minds junkie. I love it and will even watch the weekend marathons of repeat episodes. I've got a bit of an obsession with Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. I read the Twilight books and I hated them. The rabid Twilight fan girls drive me nuts. I hate Justin Bieber. I hate the cast of High School Musical and other crap like that. I am however a fan of Glee.

One odd thing about you: There are a lot of odd things about me. I guess the oddest being that sometimes the way I talk can be shocking or just plain mean, but I'm actually quite nice. It's hard to explain.
Coolest thing to ever happen to you: One year, I went skiing with friends in the mountains. None of us were that great except for this one guy, we'll call him Janke. We found ourselves at the top of a Black Diamond run and after looking down, two of us shook our heads and started sliding down on our butts. Janke sailed past us on his ski blades, howing that we were all a bunch of pussies and not looking where he was going, he launched himself over the edge of a cliff. He was unharmed, but it was the funniest thing I've ever seen. True poetic justice in my book.
Anything you want to add? I have a very low tolerance for stupidity. I also love the English language and hate seeing it butchered by netspeak, and will make fun of you mercilessly for doing so (except when it's called for or is funny in context, in which case netspeak and improper grammar is hilarious and completely appropriate.) Speaking of propriety, I'm pretty liberal-minded and very difficult to offend (in fact, clinical testing has proven it impossible) but I also appreciate class over toilet humor. I find very few subjects distasteful, but if the application is poor, it turns me off completely.
All that said, if you friend me I will definitely try to look in on all your journals and comment diligently. =]

Well, I'm Jess as stated. I like to read, write, make web graphics. I also love, love to role-play be it original role plays or fandom RPGS. I don't dig celebrity RPGs, that's just weird :\ Anyway, I like Degrassi:TNG, Trueblood, That 70's Show, What I like about You, Xena: Warrior Princess, Charmed, The Tudors. I love to read. I've been reading the Phillipa Gregory novels and discovered a new love for the Tudor era. I'm also a fan of Stephen King books, VC Andrews (Yes...I still read them....) and Judy Blume's adult novels. Have you read Summer Sisters? Seriously, go read that now.
I'm also moody and there's days when I won't feel like talking to anyone...but don't worry I won't be on messenger to infect you all with my bad moods. I live at home, so that's accountable for the mood swings. I"m currently dieting and trying to loose weight. I think I'm just now becoming successful, though I need to kick it up a notch.
I think Cassie Steele is beautiful and she's my favorite from Degrassi. I have a fan site for her and you'll hear me fan girl about her music. I'm a big fan...just a warning. I'm also into the Scene look and would really like to attempt to do a look like that without coming off as a poser or being ridiculous. I haven't yet but it's tempting.
I don't like:
Liars, two faced bitches, people who IM me and then don't keep the conversation going, people who IM me just to bitch about their communities dying or something else that I'm not interested in, slutty girls who have to sleep with everyone, drama whores (I just like it on television, thanks) Megan from Vh1, the dark, spiders, insects, cold weather/snow, immature idiots.

One odd thing about you: You mean I have to pick one?! I have 7 Beatles pictures in my room. Looks kinda obsessive...haha! No seriously, I have pictures on this shelf and my friends tell me that when they come into my room they think they're going to look at family pictures. Coolest thing to ever happen to you: I went to the bank yesterday and they said I was pre-approved for a credit card. Of course I didn't take it because I'd get myself in deep shit. :-P But yeah, I thought that was pretty cool.

Im 20 weeks pregnant and giving the baby up for open adoption.. if you don't like, don't add me.. its a big topic of discussion, I go through a lot of ups and downs. Im starting school on the 24th to be an RN, this is my roundabout way of being able to reach my dream of music production. As a career or just on the side as a hobby, couldn't care less as long as its a part of my life. I'd rather be in Winter Park, FL going to Full Sail University- hehe, but financially that's impossible. I curse like a fucking sailor. I recently decided to start using IJ again and I'm looking for friendly, active, and most importantly DRAMA FREE friends! I'm very outgoing, open minded, and non-judgemental. I blog often and love to read entries and comment, and I would prefer to add people who enjoy doing the same thing.
Now a little about me:
I'm in my early twenties, and I live, work, and go to school in Toronto, Ontario. My life revolves around school, work, and my art. I'm an amateur nature and landscape photographer. I also paint, draw, write, read, alter clothing and make jewelry, style hair, etc... Also, I love cats, cigarettes, tea, dresses, shoes, purses, leopard print, and polka dots.
I'm interested in a variety of things including philosophy, buddhism, yoga and meditation, feminism, politics, religion and spirituality, history, travel, cooking, animals, nature, etc... I love to try new things, and I'll try ANYTHING once.
As far as my taste in music/movies goes:
Music: Anything gothic, brit pop, classic rock, 80's, punk, post punk, etc... For example, I love Nick Cave, Morrissey, Joy Division, Ladytron, Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, etc...
Movies: Anything horror, preferrably classic horror/black and white/silent films. I love anything Vincent Price and most of George A. Romero's movies, not counting Diary of the Dead because that was just awful. I was a fan of zombies before it was cool.
I post a lot of my photography, and a lot of photos of myself because I am vain. I'm not an alcoholic or a drug addict but I do enjoy the occasional beer or smoke. ;) Add me even if we have nothing in common!
