FOR MUSICIANS:
When choosing credits for a character involved in the music industry, please make sure that you choose no more than three voices (in fact, we would rather you choose no more than one, but if you feel you need more, three is our limit), and that your selected voices conceivably could come from the same person. If you claim Faith Hill and then turn around and claim Mariah Carey, we're probably going to laugh at you. Then we're probably going to reject you for not reading the rules of the game. The rules are here in black and white, and they're not hard to follow. Also, please don't think that your character can put out multiple albums in a year. Most musicians don't get even one out a year. Please, please try and be realistic when it comes to this.
FOR ACTORS:
When building your character's career, please make sure that you are not listing all starring roles, as per the rules. Not all actors always have starring roles, and tend to start out with supporting or even no-name, uncredited roles. In the same vein -- not every movie your character is in is going to be a hit. Every huge star has some pretty terrible films under their belts. Even Julia Roberts. Also, please don't have your character acting in four or five movies a year -- they'd be worked to death. And please don't have your character releasing three or four albums a year -- they'd be worked to death.
TO ADD A MOVIE:
Please comment here with the name of the film, a description of the film, and the leading and supporting casts of the film. Please let us know what year the film was released. If it is in production, please tell us the status.
REGARDING MOVIES:
If you wish to have a film moved to a later date than what it is listed, please let us know. We have listed movies as we thought of them with their actual year of release. We do not have a problem moving them to suit your character, as long as it is not an inconvenience to existing characters -- IE: if you wish to move a movie that has characters already associated with it, you will need to check with the other players and see if the movie can be moved. Moving a film to a later date is to accommodate your character, and we do not have a problem with moving one so that you can have your character in the film after the game has started. (For example: The movie Serenity is not-yet-in-production.)
REGARDING TRIPLE THREATS:
Please keep in mind that not every character can do everything. Take Justin Timberlake for example: he sings, he dances, he acts. He's a terrible actor. Odds are, if your character is trying to do everything, they're not going to be too great at one of those things. Just try to keep things as realistic as possible in the realm of the game.
