Rabastan and Narcissa's disappearance had thrown Cygnus for a loop, to say the least. Frederick's son seemed so responsible, and Cygnus knew that his own daughter wouldn't have wandered off to cause them all so much time and effort without a damned good reason. And he hated that. In that moment he wished that Narcissa were the type to run off in a fit of anger and stay missing for days because at least that would be some explanation. This..this was senseless, and the only solution that Cygnus could find was that something had happened to her and the Lestrange boy and that--that was something that he could never tell Druella that he feared.
He opened his mouth, near ready to suggest another spell to Frederick before the man just vanished. He didn't go into the room, he didn't disapparate, it was just that one moment he was there and the next he wasn't. It was unexplainable, just like the disappearance of the two teenagers.
"Frederick!" He called out for the man and lunged forward, knowing that the man was gone but still having to try. His hands flailed in the air before he groaned and reached for his wand, trying to remember the last spell Frederick had be trying to use.
