So I set this up to have a place to share conversation and information on all things academic, like:
• CFPs (calls for papers) for areas that might be interesting to others
• announcements of upcoming conferences and meetings
• books, trends, news articles and other comments on academia and education in general
• discussion and debates on educational issues
• whatever else fits
