Abbott Election '05
As we all know, it’s Election Day in the USA and we hope that everyone who is eligible to vote, did their civil duty. Abbott Academy is having its own election, or a reelection of the moderators (those who run this community, make the decisions that affect us all). Why is this necessary? We feel that the community itself should always have the power to decide who should run the rpg and represent their best interests. If you’re happy with the current administration, then reelect the current-standing mods.
This is the nomination post where you are allowed up to three nominations (three separate people). Please nominate the actual roleplayer, not the character. If you have trouble with finding a name, please contact the current mods( Erica @ thecloud bursts , Ben @ Prince of Mordor, Amy @ an ex child star, Val @ blownsofaraway) . All nominations must be in by midnight, November 12, 2005 EST or 9 PM PST. Anything else, please figure it out. If you do not want to be nominated, please indicate this by leaving us a note and will we post it in this entry.
After the suggestions for nominations have been tallied, we will select the top six contenders with the most votes as the official nominees and will have another election by the community to determine the new tripod. From these six, you will have your three moderators of Abbott Academy.
And as always, your votes will be screened for your privacy. Nominate away, folks!
