*We love guys, apply away! Also try something different, like a lesbian. We have enough sluts and kids with attitude so try to steer away from that. We also have far too many seniors and juniors (about 80%) so please try to apply with freshmen and sophomores. Thank you!
*Security at Abbott Academy is now beefed up to avoid a return of the horrific events that occurred in the last three weeks.
COMING SOON
*Parents Week
-With the recent events, parents have been concerned and the Dean has decided to push Parents Week a month earlier than expected. Parents Week is from September 26th to 30th. It is not required to write about this week but c’mon, it’s fun! Let’s meet those wacky parents. Here is a schedule of the following week’s activities:
Monday: Welcome Day! Parents will get settled into their hotel rooms at the Crowne Plaza. Campus and dorm tours will be given by guides the entire day, followed by the school presentation and the dean’s greeting in the auditorium at 4 PM.
Tuesday: Parent/Teacher Conference Day!. Students will have the day off as parents meet with faculty to discuss the students’ demeanor and schoolwork. Parents may also meet with the school therapists and psychiatrists to discuss other business.
Wednesday: Take Your Parents to Class Day! Students may bring their parents to class and share the learning experience with them.
Thursday: Abbott’s first football game. Come by the Oliver Rockwell Stadium at 6 PM and wear red and gold to support Abbott!
Friday: Parents’ Dinner Night in the main dining hall. The attire is semi-formal so please do dress appropriate for the event.
*School Carnival
-The academy also needs some cheer and positive energy to steer students away from the melancholy left from the murders...like a school carnival!
