I wanted a simple layout that wasn't the default. If someone wants to offer to make a layout for the community, I'm not opposed to that. Also, if anyone has a problem with the darker layout scheme, just say so, and we'll look into having it changed.

That being said, welcome to the community. Please feel free to post whatever strikes you - introductions, personal experiences, helpful words and advice are all welcome here.

I don't know if I should ba allowed to post here, because as far as I know I've not been subject to sexual abuse (though a friend of mine has been and has not survived).

I prefer the white foreground and black background -- it's a lot easier on the eyes and the migraine when you're stuck with a flickering CRT.

I, personally don't mind if you're here, as long as you respect other members and support them. I know a lot of support groups shy away from outside people because they feel they can't understand what they've been through, but the core of my support has been from someone who has never even been touched by the things I've experienced.

One vote for leave it as it is, then? Thank you for your opinion.
