Who: Emma When:Sunday, Spring, 1,185 AP Where: Argaka, Cyprus What: Relaxing
It was nice when you were rich, and able to buy everything you wanted. It was also nice when you were brutal, had found this isle away from everyone else, and had cleared all the rife raf before it got to bad. Now the only thing that was on this isle were a few locals kept as workers, cultural spice, and basically in a nut shell slaves. Emma had found a nice villa, killed those that really lived in it, and settled in rather quickly thanking them for their hospitality.
The villa she had chosen was in in Argaka a nice luxury, stone-built, four bedroom villa nestled in lusciously green orange groves that offered both sea and mountain views. The beach was one mile away through the road access - while the start of the Paphos Forest and the Troodos massif immediately behind offered the option of pleasant mountain/forest walks. The villa was elevated in position enabling it to have wonderful unobstructed panoramic view of the Mediterranean sea and the Akamas peninsula. She had fallen in love with it the minute she had seen it.
The inside had even been furnished to her liking when she entered it without being invited of course. The villa was luxuriously fitted and furnished. All bedrooms having full en-suite bathrooms, with two the bedrooms with king-size beds and one with twin beds located on the first floor while the fourth bedroom with twin beds was on the ground floor. It had an open plan living room with fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a comfortable lounge with an open log fire completed the picture on the ground floor. Large feature windows ensured that the magnificent views across the pool and to the sea were always visible and gave a continuity to the outside living areas.
The outside was also very nice and to her liking with a provision for alfresco dining and living under the spacious shaded veranda and enjoying the views while occasionally dipping into her own very large pool or soaking up the sun on the private pool terrace. Yes, she had loved it and as such the previous owners were removed. It had been a simple affair, and she had been in the residence ever since.
She was now walking through the forest area of her property, enjoying the light rain that fell. It didn't bother her walking in the rain as long as it was a warm rain. It was also nice that the Argaka was a peaceful village on the West coast of Paphos where one was surrounded with citrus orchards and quiet beaches and excellent eating places. The town of Polis was just over 5 minutes away by car, and the fishing harbour at Latchi could be reached within a 10 minutes drive. Yes, everything was nice in Cyprus where the rich harbored themselves in these more then evil days in other places.
She looked at her watch, and decided she should probably head back so she could go to the Musical Sundays and More event in Pafos. She still had to get dressed, and get there. She was going to try to drag either Sebastian or his son.
