Through rustic wooden doors that provoke a light, jolly bell, students were welcomed into a pleasurable setting that tried so very hard to curl around each and every disposition. The Three Broomsticks had always been a cozy rendezvous place for any who venture inside; butterbeers, gillywater, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella were offered to anyone in need of a delightful drink. With many polished mahogany booths stationed along three walls of the large room, decorated in earthly upholstery, and assorted round tables with adjourning chairs placed neatly in the center, it was hard not to want to sit back and relax once you’d entered. Madam Rosmerta is one of the many friendly faces inside the business, usually found behind the rich bar that lines one side of the room, able and willing to fetch you what you’d like. She had two helpers over the weekends who care to bus tables and service any who are in need; her adored niece, Jessica, and nephew, William, come by to help when times get busy. When the first customers breech the threshold, she had already enchanted the candles to allow just the perfect amount of light, and adjusted the window fixings to let in any sun that is available. Welcome to The Three Broomsticks. |
