The owner of the manor, Vanessa Wyrick, is a strange woman that seems to never age. She tells stories of when the manor was built as if she were there but everything indicates that it has been around for centuries. The manor backs up to a large lake in the middle of the valley, so clear you can see to the bottom. There are a variety of fish and even a river that feeds the lake. Don't let this fool you, though. There is no escape from Wyrick Manor. You can try one of the three mountain roads but cross over into the next valley and you will magically find yourself back where your journey began. People are brought to the manor against their will from all over space and time. From a variety of realities. We use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and the slate has been wiped clean on all of our available and retired characters. In January 2015, X-Project underwent a relaunch, which expanded the pool of usable concepts to all of the Marvel properties, regardless of who holds the licence.
