9:02a	is god. Heaven and Hell are no more. God and the Devil have disappeared, their presence no longer felt by any of the angelic and demonic host. They’ve all just woken up, dazed and all manners of confused, in the heart of Rome. The angels and the fallen have all this morning woken up inside a human body. This body has always been on Earth. It has a history and a family; a job, friends and enemies. It has its own personality. It has habits, and if you would ask anyone associated with it, it has always been around. It is, by all appearances, perfectly normal. Old enemies will be reunited; friends too, perhaps. All that’s certain is that they are the only ones who know for a fact that their present status, contrary to all appearances, is a very new and surprising development. And it comes with many questions. Has God simply left? Ceased to exist? Do they still have a mission? A purpose? Can they ever go back? And even if it was so. Which ones would choose to? 9:31a	Durmstrang Uber Alles PREMISE The Durmstrang Institute was created for the magical instruction of Eastern European wizards. Once upon a time, it accepted all promising students who had magical aptitude, but now, any time that Muggleborns and halfbloods were ever accepted is a distant memory, in favor of rigid social classes and tradition. Students are ingrained with a sense of superiority or inferiority [one that often starts at home], a respect for tradition and appropriate social behavior, and most importantly a strong desire to succeed and to be the best. Students that graduate from Durmstrang are the most talented, the strongest, the brightest, and the best. The only question is...are you strong enough to survive until graduation? 12:59p	Haunted Roads "Some places just seem to be that way. You know, mystical hot-spots… The Devils Triangle; Sedona, Arizona; New Orleans; Stonehenge; places where strange things just seem to happen. I never used to think much about any of that, I thought it all was all bunk, the work of fiction or an over active imagination (Maybe too much pizza before bedtime.). I never believed any of it before I moved to Seattle. Never thought any of it could be true until I bought a renovated condo in the Old Town Towers. But not even the things I saw there could prepare me for what happened underground. Now, I know things like ghosts and werewolves and such can’t exist. But what about that housekeeping woman that walks through walls, and one time walked right through me? Or that creepy pale guy in D5 who always smells like blood (or the woman beside him that always smells like garlic)? Strange howling sounds, terrified screams, disappearing pets..." 1:35p	If anyone's interested in a great new X-Men/Marvel(ish) RPG, come and check out capeless_rpg via capeless_mod! I'm playing Jean Grey and Lorna Dane there. I'm looking for some reliable, fast-paced, friendly players to play the following characters: Scott Summers/Cyclops (we've got an Alex Summers already), Mastermind, Logan/Wolverine, Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver, Bobby Drake/Iceman... and there are tons of other characters available! Not only from the X-Men universe, but from Any Marvel Universe! I'd love for more Brotherhood and/or more of the Hellfire Club. I'm definitely interested in picking up a third (and fourth) character, too, if you want to do a storyline swap sort of deal. 5:12p	Olympia Heights In the height of the Olympians' power, Gaia saw that their decadence would destroy the world of men. To protect humanity and to protect the Gods from themselves, the mother locked them away for thousands of years. The world grew away from polytheism, Greece and Rome fell as great powers in the world, and the world grew and shifted. Now, in 2007, the Gods have been reborn as mortals. Raised in the new world as human beings, they are just beginning to awaken to their powers and memories. Olympia Heights is a small school. The town population is 13,000 with most of that being elderly. 24% of high school students in the town attend private schools. The small population leaves class sizes small. Having fewer peers means everyone knows everyone and gossip travels fast. Will a humanist perspective change their ways? Will old enemies find them? Will they survive until their ascension or will they be destroyed once and for all? 5:29p	Time of Trial Rules-Character List-Format-Application-Sample Application-Plot-Game Facts-Played-Bys-Backstory-Icon&PB Sources During the 1970's, the war between The Death Eaters and The Order of Phoenix raged on. People disappeared and entire families were killed by the hands of the Death Eaters and the Dark Lord Voldemort- and the Ministry of Magic stood nearly powerless to stop these massacres. The threat of pureblood society taking complete control over the Wizarding World rose, and Albus Dumbledore created the Order of the Phoenix. The blood shed and the body count between the two groups grew and grew while no progress was made on either side. A red scare ran throughout the Wizarding world; people who were even thought to be Death Eaters were convicted and killed without a fair trial. The Dark Lord used his intelligence in the Ministry to gain what he believed would be the knowledge that would win the war. A prophecy about a child that would have the power to defeat him, and through much of his own research he discovered this child was born of Lily and James Potter. He set about trying to find the couple who had defied him three times and kill their son. Lily and James were forewarned of the fate of their son, and managed to elude Lord Voldemort for a number of years- they did not stop living their lives. Not only did they have their son- but they also had a daughter while in hiding. They hoped the terror would stop and they would be able to return to their daily lives, it didn't. Peter Pettigrew, their secret keeper betrayed them and on the evening of October 31st, 1983- he came to Godric's Hollow to kill them. Things did not go as planned, James Potter sacrificed his life for his family that night- and in doing so he killed Lord Voldemort. No one knows exactly what happened that night- he sent his wife and children into hiding, and as the house fell down around them they were able to barely escape and take refuge at Hogwarts until the storm could blow over. With the Dark Lord Dead, though no body recovered- the Ministry was able to capture many of the most prominent Death Eaters and those who weren't killed were given life sentences in Azkaban- Peter Pettigrew included. The Potter's had become a famous family, and the fact that James Potter's widow was testifying made the trial a public spectacle. Some of these families were able to buy their way out of Azkaban, but their reputations were not unscathed. The only trace of the Dark Lord was a package he left with the Lestrange family- containing a few items from the Founders of Hogwarts. There was no note, no instructions- just a few seemingly useless items. Time went by, and the threat of the Death Eaters became something only remembered by History Books. The next generations started at Hogwarts, and it seemed that all was well in the Wizarding World. But that was only for the time being.. The year is 1995 when Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Hogwarts to start their fifth year. No one has any idea what is in store for them. The War has begun..
