3:01p	The gods are up to no good again. A large conference was called, many showed up, many others deemed it not worth their precious time. The proceedings were long, drawn out and arguments were had. Many plans were drawn up, discussed, thrown out and redone. One plan was finally agreed upon. A plan that would change the course of a chosen few of their followers. All the worlds, all the times, beings could feel the pull. The mansion called, beckoned them to a time in paradise, held them within the confines of the island. Here only the mansion ruled, ever changing, ever listening, and all knowing. A few changes have been made to the staff over the summer, the most noticeable being the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor; A Mr. Tom Marvolo Riddle. His new post is widely questioned by the wizarding world; The man has been convicted of murders throughout the seventies, why would Dumbledore hire him to teach young children? Dumbledore simply plays it off saying that he has applied "twice before". That he has not been able to be convicted of anything. Mr. Riddle has, after all, been studying abroad since the 1980's, and is very knowledgeable on his subject. But no one expects what comes next- Not only are Hogsmeade and the Ministry of Magic attacked- but Hogwarts also comes under fire. It is at the attack when Tom Riddle becomes Lord Voldemort and attempts to kill Harry Potter. But when the wands create a phenomena called 'Prior Incantato' and Lily Potter breaks the spell in a desperate attempt to save her son- The 'Boy who lived' is victorious. Voldemort goes into hiding, and The Potter family gains instant fame. Although the Ministry of Magic would like to believe the Dark Lord is dead- he is only in hiding- giving orders to his faithful from the shadows. The Dark Lord still lives, and plans to ascend.. The War has begun..
