The main reason this asylum was created was simply because there were so many fanfiction challenges out there for writers but absolutely none for icon-makers, at least not here on InsaneJournal. So what is this all about? Well, quite simply this is a place for icon makers and lovers alike. For those who are new to this the idea behind this asylum is a lot like the asylums dedicated to fanfiction challenges where authors are given 50 or 100 prompts that they must find a way to incorporate into their story somehow, only in this case it is done with icons instead.
++How to make a claim++
1] Join this asylum. You can do this by simply clicking here. 2] When you have done that check to see if your claim is free and if it is submit your claim on this post and wait for your claim to be approved. 3] Once it has been approved you can go and pick up the prompts as well as the code for the table here. You may now begin. You have a period of 3 months to finish your icons. 4] When you post your icons is entirely up to you. You can post them as you go or you can wait until you’ve done all 50 before you post them. 5] When you’ve finished with your claim comment on this post and your name will be added to the Hall of Fame. 6] If you decide to drop a claim for any reason (ie. lost interest in it, want to make another one, no longer have time for it) then please comment here.

Before you get started please be sure to read through this first. It might be tedious but it could save you a lot of questions and confusion later on. # The subject of your claim can be a single character, a couple or a whole series. This can be from any series/movies/anime you like. For more information about a couple claim please go to the FAQ. # At any one time you are allowed a maximum of two claims. If you already have two claims and would like another you can only make another claim when you have finished one of your two existing claims or if for some reason you have decided to drop one of them. # This is a challenge so please make new icons and do not just re-use old ones to fill in your table. # The prompts are there to inspire you. How you interpret them is entirely up to you. Be as creative as you want. # When you post your icons please use this format: Claim: (self-explanatory) Batch: (if this is the second batch of icons you have posted so far you would put two) Notes: (this is where you put anything else you might want to add or anything warnings that might be needed) # When posting your icons if there are more than three please post them under a cut. Also once again, you do not have to post all of your icons in one go. You can post them as you go if you want to or wait until you’ve done them all. Again, it’s entirely up to you. # Please post all mature content under a cut along with a clear warning of the adult nature of the content. If you still have any questions you can ask it here. Otherwise, just have fun and enjoy all the pretty icons!
