I like this story, and not because I think that John would actually act that way. Yes, he'd kill if any of his people were in danger, he'd blow up a house if it'd mean they could distract someone who is after them, BUT, I think you put this into the extreme. And THAT is why I like it.

The way the characters act together was very nice and I liked that you added Cadman to it because that shows he was planning from the very beginning to do something he's unlikely to regret.

And my favourite bit is the one in the beginning that you filled in when I asked you to. It does keep the momentum so very well and rolls through the whole scene wonderfully.
