Ronon looped an arm around Rodney’s neck and pulled him toward the bonfire.
Although Athos appeared to have fallen, Her people merely took Her with them when they fled. It was those same dancing folks Ronon was trying to force Rodney to join.
“Rodney.”
Rodney gave a petulant tug for freedom.
“I told you! I don’t dance!”
There’s an answering tug that’s equally insistent.
“Of course you dance, McKay. Everyone dances.”
Rodney makes another fruitless tug.
“I. Don’t.”
Ronon huffs.
“It’s just moving your hips, and you do that damn well.”
A crooked grin is all the answer Ronon needs.

Prompt: Table 1 :: #3 – Fire
It’s nearing the middle of the evening. Everyone’s both danced out and well-fed. It’s now time for the main event and all Athosians of marrying age are paraded to the front of the crowd.
The bonfire’s still burning, but has been allowed to die down. The ritual of fiery intent is briefly explained to the people of Earth.
Ronon scarcely has time to tell Rodney they had a similar rite on Sateda and consider participating, when Rodney has jumped across the flames.
He’s set his pants on fire and is complaining about scorched hairs, but the gesture is appreciated nevertheless.

Title: Making Moves
Rating: PG
Pairing: Ronon Dex/Rodney McKay
Warnings: Hrmm. None, really.
Spoilers: None!
Disclaimer: Can’t own them.
Word Count: 100
Prompt: Table 1 :: #15 – Devious
Ronon’s beaten the flames off of Rodney’s pants with his coat, but Rodney’s still griping about barbaric rituals and that “he must have been crazy to do that!” Ronon chuckles and tells Rodney what’s done is past, and that he did well, regardless. Rodney gives a rueful grin in response.
For the rest of the night, more women and men than Rodney can comprehend edge up to him. There are offers for the evening and a lifetime.
Ronon needs only to snarl at most of the would-be suitors and just once, arm his gun, to make his own intentions clear.
