Table #1 :: Prompts #42, #29, #49 & #50 :: Ronon/Rodney :: 20/50
Fandom: Stargate Atlantis
Title: Wind In My Hair
Rating: G
Pairing: Ronon Dex/Rodney McKay
Warnings: None
Spoilers: Absolutely none!
Disclaimer: I try to keep my hands off the copyrights.
Word Count: 100
Prompt: Table 1 :: #42 – Road Trip
Rodney had somehow convinced Stargate Command and the IOA both that Ronon was perfectly safe to inflict upon America. How he had done so, no one knew, but bets went out that he had all-out sold his soul to the devil.
Rodney would neither confirm nor deny any speculation, but told Ronon to pack enough clothes for a few days. Despite this, Ronon was grateful for whatever it was that Rodney had done. Or sold.
Without it, they wouldn’t be flying down the 25 headed to Colorado City to see something called Pikes Peak. Rodney assured him he’d love it.

Title: Counting the Minutes
Rating: G
Pairing: Ronon Dex/Rodney McKay
Warnings: None
Spoilers: None
Disclaimer: So not mine.

Prompt: Table 1 :: #29 – Hours
When Rodney said that it would take hours to get to Colorado City, he naturally assumed Rodney was doing that exaggeration thing he liked to do so much. When they hit bumper-to-bumper traffic in what was the most uncharacteristically stifling heat the area had known since 1874, Ronon knew there had to be some truth to the statement.
They waited their turn to crawl forward a few inches further and Ronon felt himself growing jittery with each passing minute. Rodney swore they were only on the road for ‘a couple of hours’, but Ronon knew it had been longer.

Title: On Getting Results
Rating: Barely PG – for the light swearing.
Pairing: Ronon Dex/Rodney McKay :: or, pre-Ronon/Rodney
Warnings: None, really.
Spoilers: None, unless you’ve never seen an episode featuring Ronon.
Disclaimer: Don’t own.

Prompt: Table 1 :: #49 – Temper
Setting Ronon off truly was the personification of beauty. It was exhilarating to watch him stomp around snarling threats and growling at anyone within range. At least, it was exhilarating to Rodney when he was way the fuck out of Dodge.
He found that riling Ronon up and siccing him on the idiots who called themselves scientists got things moving along nicely. Projects that stalled out were magically completed within days. It was sheer brilliance.
Curiously enough, when Ronon approached Rodney about returning some of the favors he’d done for him, Rodney found he caught the strangest case of amnesia.

Title: Moments For Bonding
Rating: G
Pairing: Ronon Dex/Rodney McKay :: again, probably best labeled as “pre-Ronon/Rodney”
Warnings: None
Spoilers: None
Disclaimer: Not mine.

Prompt: Table 1 :: #50 – Woods
Being lost in woods Ronon didn’t know wasn’t his ideal way to spend a Saturday morning. In fact, if he’d been back on Atlantis, he’d have already eaten breakfast, had his morning run, taken out a dozen Marines, and still have had time to fall asleep in Teyla’s shared meditation.
But here he was, stuck like Chuck, with McKay.
Bad situations always seemed to get worse when forced into the barest proximity to Rodney. He would whine first and then think about fixing the problem. Looking up at the setting sun, Ronon hoped for less whining and much more problem-solving.
