Prompt: Table 1 :: #28 – Incense
Ronon’s hair had taken on the smell of Teyla’s ever-present incense. It wasn’t bad, exactly. Still, no matter how many times Ronon washed it, the smell never came out.
Rodney said he didn’t mind, which was a rare thing in itself, because he minded everything else in the world, no matter how petty it was. At night, he’d crawl into bed all the same asking for a Rodney-themed event of the evening.
But to Ronon, it mattered, a lot. He wasn’t wholly himself with the scent of someone else on his skin. There were exceptions, and they stopped at Rodney.

Prompt: Table 1 :: #34 – Making Dinner
Ronon called himself making dinner the night he discovered the Ancient version of ‘the microwave’. Rodney had explained the basics of the Earth technology and its Ancient cousin. He’d shown Ronon the buttons to push and the one he shouldn’t, because he was convinced it would blow them all to smithereens.
Ronon had listened to Rodney, but must have missed something. He remembered being distracted by Rodney’s lips as they stressed some point or another and his mind drifted.
That moment was going to cost him. Now he had to explain the burnt hole where the warmer used to be.
