WELCOME & INSTRUCTIONS Welcome to 30_somethings, a writing prompt community based on those that are found at livejournal, etc. There are no sign ups, and no claims. Just choose any of the themed prompt tables found at THIS POST and write a story based on each of the prompts found within the table. You can write all 30 stories using a single fandom/original series or pairing, or mix and match to your heart or muse's content! Alternatively, members may also make suggestions for a table of 30 prompts by replying HERE. You may also work on your prompts as part of a collaboration.
Feel free to interpret any of the prompts as you please. The actual prompt word itself does not need to appear anywhere in the story. Prompts can be completed in any order, as inspiration hits. Please remember to keep the broad theme of the prompt table you are using in mind as you write your story (eg, ANGSTS, ROMANCES, etc.) You may not mix and match prompts from other tables, but you can complete as many tables as you wish (even all of them!)

Be warned that stories in this community may contain mature content, so please read all warnings associated with a piece of fiction first. Yaoi/slash/boy love, het and yuri/femmeslash/girl love, RPS/RPF are all okay. No flames of any kind will be tolerated from members. But feedback & constructive comments are <3 and help make a community worth joining!
