| About: | WELCOME & INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO POST YOUR STORIES LIST OF APPROVED CLAIMS LIST OF AFFILIATES WELCOME & INSTRUCTIONS Welcome to ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} 30_somethings, a writing prompt community based on those that are found at livejournal, etc. Just sign up at THIS POST to claim a character or characters from any fandom, which you will then write 30 stories about using one (or even all) of the themed prompt tables found at THIS POST. Alternatively, members may also make suggestions for a table of 30 prompts by replying HERE.You can choose as many characters/series as you wish, as long as they haven't already been claimed by someone else for the prompt table you want to use. Original characters/series are also most welcome. You may work on your prompts as part of a collaboration, but both partners must sign up to the community and whoever makes the claim must mention this when requesting the pairing. Feel free to interpret any of the prompts as you please. The actual prompt word itself does not need to appear anywhere in the story. Prompts can be completed in any order, as inspiration hits. Please remember to keep the broad theme of the prompt table you are using in mind as you write your story (eg, ANGSTS, ROMANCES, etc.) You may not mix and match prompts from other tables, but you can complete as many tables as you wish (even all of them!) Any characters you have claimed in your sign-up post must also appear in the story, even if it's just a passing mention. Take as long as you need to finish the prompts, but try to post something at least once every six months, so we know you're still interested. If you are writing fan-fiction and need to drop your claim, please leave another comment here at THIS POST, in case another writer would like to claim those characters. When you have COMPLETED A CLAIM (i.e. finished writing all 30 fics for a chosen table), you can post HERE, and receive a graphic for your profile page.
