I hear Capcom has been trying to distance themselves from this lately, but here it is in print, from 「ロックマン7&ロックマンX3超百科」: among the names originally considered were "Rainbow Warrior Miracle Kid" and "Miracle Rainbow Rockman". I wonder if Greenpeace objected to "Rainbow Warrior..."?
