Hi guys! My name is Katie and I think I know a couple of you, but I'm here with just one kid, sixth year Slytherin (and bastard - the jerk kind, not the illegitimate kind) Rabastan Lestrange!

So Rab here is the younger Lestrange brother to Rodolphus, who was your tall glittery-eyed leader sort who fell neatly into the Future Death Eater category - Rabastan is less typically brutal, but still following in his older brother's footsteps because, eh, it's easier than trying to make his own path. He's the sort of lazy but clever Slytherin that takes the easy path when possible, but if he absolutely has to, will get off his arse and prove he's got mettle. Mostly, though, he'll snark comfortably from his lounging position.

He is, for all intents and purposes, dating Imogen Vaisey and has been for some time, but let's be real here: it's a political alignment, not some deep I-will-love-you-forever, and there are most definitely a few girls who've had Rabastan in their beds or under their skirts while he's technically with Genie. He still might propose someday, he doesn't know, but he'd rather not think about it all that much.

Hi everyone! I'm Maxi, and every excited to be here.

I'm bringing in Allison "Ally" Catchlove. Gryffindor 7th year - Chaser. Energetic, fun loving and high energy sort of girl. She's got a natural outgoing and friendly way to her as she struggles to accept anything that is negative and prefers to have things sunny, and happy. Occasionally annoyingly so. Ally is a halfblood witch with a 3 older brothers, and tends to love to come up with insane ideas and nicknames for people that change often.

Some line ideas: Friends, a best friend would be great, people that she drives insane (possibly other houses - can't stand her but she just doesn't give up), a new bloke she can decide she has a crush on (and she wont be shy about it or take it seriously at all), anyone who wants to pick on her. I'm pretty open and will do some more thinking on lines as well.

If I haven't played with you before, pleased to meet you. If I have, well, hiiiiii. I'll keep this short and sweet. My character directory is on open access, so you're welcome to have a look there. Buuut, if you're lazy, here's the low down:

Marlene McKinnon - Seventh Year Puff, Pureblood, Moral Compass, Helga Hufflepuff II, and way too in your face.

Lines Needed: Flings (because commitment freaks her out), and Friends! Possibly people who hate her on principle because hello, the McKinnons are known ~lowly Blood Traitors. Basically, I love plot so anything and everything.

Tristan Renshaw - Seventh Year Ravenclaw, Muggleborn, that annoying intelligent dude who puts in no effort, used to be a tad on the quiet side but now can't shut up about how Muggleborns are better than you aaannnnd is super emotional and cries a lot of rivers.

Lines Needed: I need bros! Purists who are dicks to him, and an ex-girlfriend who dumped him because he's so annoyingly laid back that nothing was moving forward. Then he realised how much he really loved her and was in a ~mood for months.

Xavier Yaxley - Sixth Year Slytherin, Pureblood, Prefect, Diplomatic Purist who hates you all secretly but he tries to act all ~prefectly. Really, though, if you paid attention you'd realise he docks more points off Muggleborns than anyone else.

Lines: Friends, Pureblood connections, maybe an ex-girlfriend, people to hate on, etc.

Welcome to Nineteen Seventy-Seven. Before we get playing, we just wanted to let you know a few details on how the game is going to run. If you’ve read the FAQ, you’ll be all up to speed about how it’ll be functioning as a PSL -- this means that we, as a collective group, have complete power on the events that happen in game. Anyway, here’s some information that directly influence you and your game playing.

Each month or so, we’ll put up an event planning post in the OOC community. This way if anyone has any plot ideas, they can share it with the group. As explained in the FAQ, if the at least three people agree to this plot, it’ll go through.

Anyone can post a meme. Yes, anyone! If you feel the need or desire to meme it up, you’re more than welcome to. Just post it in the OOC community, because just like always, what happens in the meme, stays in the meme.

There is no set opening date! As soon as you're ready to get posting, go for it.
