Adrian would wonder why Lawrence, someone how’s he’s come to know and love in weeks, can stay at his side, and enjoy it.

A complete stranger cherishes his existence instead of his mother, someone he thought would always love him.

She hated him, she abandoned him in the middle of nowhere, in that carnival, back to the place of his conception. He was ten years old, he wandered the streets by himself for two days.

He wanted his mother to be proud of him, to see how big of a boy he was that he was able to come home.

She wasn’t, she hated him even more for returning. She wouldn’t even look at him.

She’s nothing like Lawrence. He wants Adrian, loves him, and looks at him, sees him for what he is, and not the mistake his mother regretted.
