Heeeey! Welcome to the new community, guys : ) I see Amy's even started posting and everything ; )
Everybody getting settled in? Finding everything okay? Anybody have any questions? Just let me know!
A couple ground rules here, just so we're all on the same page. OOC community posts should be friends-locked (except for this one, as we're not all joined and friended yet :) ), but I've got no rules for what you can post. You can chatter around all you like, on or off-topic. Just no fights-- not that I expect any from you nice folks XD
Since this is a journal format rather than a forum format, we have several options for posting. We can use tag scenes, by posting a starter and then leaving comments on it, much like a forum post. People will get email notifications of new posts if they have they have their journals set up that way, or you can notify each other via AIM or email or whatever if you'd rather : ) However, we can also write scenes other ways and post them up in chunks or as completed scenes. I'm flexible about scenes written in AIM, email, googledocs, shared word document if you happen to be at the same computer (not likely, but hey, it's possible!)... whatever. If you have a preferred method of scening, have at it, just post it up here as you finish it : )
Now that we're settled, I'm thinking we might get moving with the next gameday soon. Any objections? : ) I have this gameday's challenge all figured out, for once, so we're actually good for the next two, but in a few days I'll put up a "suggestions box" kind of post where anyone with challenge ideas (for next gameday or sometime in the future, for the whole compound right down to affecting only your individual character, lasting from one day up to a whole week, plotty or completely off-the-wall random) can post them up for me to consider. I'll be keeping comments made there screened, so there will be some element of surprise to the other players involved : )
... I keep feeling like there was more I wanted to say, but I've forgotten. Oh well! If I remember later, I'll say something.
