I was once known as [info]vampiress_diva @ gj. Has anyone notice the URL is not working now? I think gj is dead. Oh well.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It's been down all night. I'm really hoping it'll get up for at least another hour, a last gasp of life, so a friend of mine and I can grab a few things we didn't get a chance to.

I'm also really hoping that all my players at one of my games got the message that we were moving to IJ. I really, really do. Sigh.

When you log in, under user name, if you have more than one journal, put yourusername IJ, then the password, then go to 'File', 'Server settings', put the InsaneJournal addy, and make sure it says just your username, no IJ after.

Note- make sure that 'auto login' is NOT selected.

So on the login it should say-

Username IJ
Password

Under File, Server settings-

http://www.insanejournal.com as the server

Then-
username
password

You can do this for each journal, just designate on the login, which is which- username DJ, or username LJ, or username GJ, etc.

Once you log in, after you type up your entry, under 'Journal', select 'Post to Multiple Journals' and check the ones you want to post to.

Note- When logging into InsaneJournal via Semagic, you will get an error screen saying it might not show properly. That's generally because it hasn't been updated for IJ's added tagging feature yet.

It's a wonderful client for updating LJ and its clones. Allows you to update multiple journals which is handy if you mirror your journal.
